Digital image steganography

Steganography origins from the two Greek words, steganos and graphei that translate to covered or protected writing. Steganography is a form of art and science to write, receive and send hidden messages, which can be read and interpreted by the writer and the intended receiver. Johannes Trithemius was the first recorded user of this term. Steganography is advantageous than cryptography because steganography protects both messages and the parties who are communicating.
Steganography can be used by the military to send and receive important information. Messages that are sent could be in the form of images, audios and videos. The goal of Steganography is to conceal the existence of data that is embedded in the image, audio or video. If the feature where the data is embedded is evident, then the data is evident to recipient.
